Jos3 Hernandez began his life on the small island of Cozumel Quintanaroo, Mexico. Soon thereafter his family moved to Acapulco where at the age of four he started dancing and performing in a production called the el baile de la iguana.   From there he progressed to classic Mexican folklore dancing and competed on a state level.  Jos3’s love of the stage took him into acting, and he performed and acted in many productions throughout his school years along with playing the guitar in his own rock band.

After moving to the US he began to train with some of the best salsa champions in the Los Angeles area.  His talent was immediately recognized and after dancing salsa for only 6 months and he was asked to join and perform in some of the best LA salsa dance teams.  He went on to win first prize in a prestigious salsa event in Palm Springs.

Jos3 loves to teach salsa as much as he loves to perform.  His students respect and admire his ability to infuse them with his passion for the salsa.  It has been said that he not only teaches them the necessary techniques, but also helps them get in touch with the energy of the dance so that they too can allow the music to speak through them.

Having been formally educated as an Electromechanical Engineer and Graphic designer he uses his artistic talents and professional skill to express himself through the dance of salsa.

Eva was born and raised in the city of Prague, in the Czech Republic. She loved dancing even as a child when at the age of seven, her first dance training started with ballet and tap dance. She continued with her dance training through high school and afterwards, adding ballroom and belly dancing to her continuing ballet and tap dance experience, and finally discovering salsa and other Latin dances in her early twenties.
When she moved to Las Vegas in 2006, her passion for salsa ignited and she joined a salsa dance team, Sin City Salseros, and having found a dance partner, she began performing, competing, and finally teaching salsa classes at a studio. In 2008 she moved to Los Angeles where she joined another dance team and performed at various events, eventually partnering with Jos3 Hernandez from Salseros-LA to teach classes. More recently Eva has added West Coast Swing dancing to her repertoire, expanding her techniques to improve her overall dance skills.
From January 2010 to June 2011 Eva was a member of Charlene Rose Dance Company performing at many salsa events, clubs and venues. Currently she continues to perform and compete whilst partnering with Jos3 to teach classes, workshops and host weekly latin nights and various salsa events.
Eva has always followed her passion for music and dance, and she loves to share the joy and happiness that salsa dancing brings to her life with her students. Her favorite dance quote is: “Great dancers aren’t great because of their technique; they are great because of their passion” – Martha Graham.
She has a strong desire to always improve her dancing skills and techniques, and to educate herself on how to become a better dancer, a passion which acts an inspiration to her students to capture their love for dance and use it to improve their skills.
